Yeah sorry I haven't been around much. Between school and work, I don't have a lot of time for art or writing. Also I've been in a bit of a rut as of late. I'm just now starting to draw again, for the first time in nearly a year.

Some of you may know the reference in the title, but for those of you that don't it's from my most recent (6 months old) obsession: the Green Lantern. Geoff Johns is an amazing writer and I love what he's done with the characters. I picked up GL: Rebirth over the summer on a whim and have been hooked since. The artists they have working for it are fantastic. Some people will always prefer Alex Ross' style. I think it's pretty, but I don't think it's got the same pulp feel as other comic art. For that reason, while I love to look at his work, I will always prefer people like Reis, Lee, and Van Sciver for comics I'm actually reading.

Especially Reis and Van Sciver. Amazing stuff.

But yeah I have a few things I need to put up. I'll see about doing that soon.

(Also: While I am a Hal Jordan fan, I thought the Rayner/Ion icon I found looked cooler than the Jordan ones. So I'm using it.)
